Rainscape runs entirely in your browser. Audio is synthesized client-side using the Web Audio API — there's no streaming server, no media buffer, no bandwidth cost. That's why it works offline once loaded, never repeats, and uses a fraction of the data of a 10-hour video.
The visual rain on the canvas is rendered in real time, too — every droplet is generated by the same physics engine driving the audio.
